With a beautiful historic downtown, growing population, and newly developing areas; Plant City offers residents and visitors an abundance of activities. The goal of this project is to develop a bicycle and pedestrian network that connects residents, businesses, and recreation areas with safe routes for pedestrians and cyclists. The study considers the feasibility of trails, on-street bike facilities, and sidewalks; and provides a plan of how Plant City can improve access for all residents.
The plan has been accepted by the Plant City City Commission, reviewed by the MPO’s advisory committees, and approved by the MPO Board at the August 1, 2017 board meeting.
