Welcome new Planning Commissioners + an opportunity to represent the City of Tampa

new planning commissioners

February 2022 – here are some new faces and a familiar face now sitting on the 2022 Planning Commission. We are excited to welcome back Matthew Buzza (left) who represented Hillsborough County from 2014 – 2018. He now represents the City of Plant City. Mr. Buzza was sworn in at the Planning Commission’s December meeting along with Jess Louk (center) who was newly appointed by Hillsborough County. Joining us in January, Steven Fernandez (right) was appointed by the City of Temple Terrace.

Meet all of your Planning Commissioners.

We currently have an opening on the Hillsborough County City-County Planning Commission for a representative of the City of Tampa. To be considered for appointment by Tampa City Council, Tampa residents interested in planning for the future of our community should submit an application by February 28, 2022 to the City Clerk.
