November 2019 – Join us on Friday, November 15 at 7:30 a.m. as we honor the 2019 victims of traffic violence. We will read the victims’ names aloud and walk with posters bearing their name and date of death in a mile-long walk down Kennedy to Meridian and returning on Jackson. The event starts and ends outside the Hilton Tampa Downtown at the corner of Jackson and Franklin streets (Poe Plaza). To date, Hillsborough County total traffic fatalities are 166, consisting of 48 pedestrians, 9 bicyclists, 38 motorcycles, and 71 motorists, with total fatal and injury crashes at 1,108. Please come out and help us spread the word that something has to change.
