December 2020 – UZURV works with transit authorities and healthcare organizations across the country to provide the highest quality door-to-door adaptive transportation for community ADA mobility programs and efficient non-emergency medical transportation. In collaboration with TBARTA, UZURV received nearly $1 million from the Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged (CTD) to provide cross-county and late-night trips for people who quality as transportation disadvantaged. This grant will improve the quality of life for all eligible participants through increased access across the five-county region.
The Hillsborough MPO supported UZURV’s application through coordinating with the Sunshine Line, the Pinellas and Pasco MPOs, and the TMA-LG to build local and regional support for the project.
