Take the Community Resiliency Information System survey

flooded streetNovember 2020 – Plan Hillsborough continues to work on enhancing resiliency in Hillsborough County through planning and collaboration with its local partners. Tropical Storm Eta has passed, but the 2020 hurricane season does not end until November 30. It’s not too soon to consider a plan for the next hurricane season! You can share your local needs in preparing for and responding to a major storm with local officials and policy makers. The University of South Florida has developed the Community Resiliency Information System (CRIS) survey tool to let local planners and emergency managers know what your neighborhood needs as we face the possibility of hurricanes or tropical storms coming ashore on the Florida Gulf Coast. Data from the survey will be combined with others from your neighborhood and sent to local city and county officials to give them a better idea of the challenges faced in your neighborhood, and what kind of resources are needed to better prepare in the event we are impacted by a hurricane.

Take the survey on hurricane preparation.
