Felicia started working at the Planning Commission in April 1997 as an Accountant I and is now the Financial Manager for the Hillsborough County Planning Commission and MPO. She creates and maintains both agency’s budgets and submits them to the county annually. She is also responsible for paying the MPO consultants, billing FDOT for reimbursement of all allowable MPO expenses, assisting staff with the MPO’s UPWP budget, and maintaining the agency time-keeping system to make sure staff submit their time promptly.

Prior to working at the Planning Commission, Felicia worked for the Clerk of the Circuit Court and was the bookkeeper for the local branch of the Mayflower Corporation in Tampa. In addition to her background in finance, Felicia also graduated from nursing school and still currently holds her RN license.

Felicia has three sons, two of which currently serve in the U.S. military. She enjoys sewing and recently made over 100 masks for her son’s workplace and family due to the pandemic. Felicia and her husband live on the Alafia River and enjoy boating, fishing, and riding motorcycles. In her free time, she enjoys going ziplining, doing tree obstacle courses, and spending time with her sons.
