Planning Support Services assists the Agency and its mission by learning, mastering, and providing innovative technologies so that our staff and the public receive effective services and solutions.
The division works to create and analyze planning data, develop planning tools and innovate online resources (i.e. websites, mapping, interactive applications) for both staff and public participation throughout the planning process. The division also creates, designs, implements and maintains Geographic Information System (GIS) technologies, along with administrating the Agency’s computer network, VoIP, security, internet connectivity, email systems and their related hardware and software.

Jerid McAdoo, Planning and GIS Tech, Mr. McAdoo’s primary duties include all mapping for the municipalities of Tampa, Plant City and Temple Terrace. Mr. McAdoo is also responsible for All Plan Amendment intake and public noticing requirements and legal advertisements for the Cities’ and Planning Commission public hearings, as well as the maintenance of the Cities’ Plan Amendment database. 813/582-7376 mcadooj@plancom.org
