Save the Date – September 19, 2015
Join Keep Tampa Bay Beautiful as we host local sites along Tampa Bay, the Hillsborough River, Alafia River, Little Manatee River, Lake Thonotosassa and other waterways throughout Hillsborough County.
Last year, well over 60,500 pounds of litter and debris was removed from more than 75 locations throughout Hillsborough County. More than 4,000 volunteers participated in the cleanup along the Hillsborough River, Alafia River, and other waterways.
This year’s cleanup will take place on Saturday, September 19 at various sites throughout Hillsborough County. Check-in will begin at 8:30 a.m. The cleanup will begin at 9:00 a.m.Volunteer registration opens August 3. We are currently recruiting site captains.
