July 2022 – The Hillsborough TPO is partnering with four other metropolitan planning organizations and the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 7 to launch surveys that will provide information to help build the Tampa Bay Regional Demand Model and the 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP).
The survey effort involves an employer questionnaire that will collect information on topics such as teleworking policies and transportation services or amenities offered to employees. Conversely, an employee survey will collect information on employee demographics and travel characteristics, such as how far employees travel and how often they go into work. These surveys will capture important travel patterns as well as office and at-home work locations that will be crucial to projections in the LRTP.
