February 2022 – Live, work, or play in Tampa? You are warmly invited to participate in the update of the Tampa Comprehensive Plan through the horizon year 2045. The State of Florida requires all counties and municipalities to adopt comprehensive plans. Typically updated every 5-7 years, the current Imagine 2040: Tampa Comprehensive Plan was adopted in 2016. Since then, the City has experienced tremendous growth and change that makes community participation in this update more significant than ever.
The Planning Commission is working in coordination with Tampa’s City Planning Department and the community to create the blueprint for the future growth of the City. Right now, you can tell us your vision for the future of our City by completing a brief survey at LiveGrowThrive2045.com. You’ll be asked to provide feedback on general vision statements related to transportation, housing, parks, water, and other major aspects of society that will be impacted over the next two decades. Your input will help us refine what we’ve heard in previous plans and studies to what’s most important to the community today.
