Albert Marrero | Planning Support Specialist |Tenure: 1 Year
As a Planning Support Specialist, Albert intakes plan amendment applications for Unincorporated Hillsborough County and maintains and updates the supporting materials through the adoption of the amendment. In addition, he maintains and updates all county amendments on the website, is the fleet coordinator for the agency’s vehicles, and helps update our internal rezoning app. Prior to working at the Planning Commission, he worked as a safety supervisor at Busch Gardens where he trained staff on how to safely evacuate people from rollercoasters.
Albert’s favorite part about living in the Tampa Bay region is all of the outdoor activities. He enjoys going to public parks, beaches, and amusement parks. He loves hiking and backpacking in the mountains and one of his bucket list items is to go to every national park. In his spare time, he practices landscape photography and web development programming and design.
