September 2019 – The Gulf Coast Safe Streets Summit (GCSSS) and Safe Routes to School National Conference are being jointly held at the Hilton Tampa Downtown from November 12-14, 2019. Join hundreds of active transportation and public health advocates from across the country for valuable networking and sharing best practices. Registration for both events is open now.
The 2nd annual GCSSS on Thursday, November 14 from 2:00p – 8:00p will feature two exciting panel sessions. The first, moderated by Jeff Speck, AICP, focuses on the Human-centered Mobility Bill of Rights. The second will take on Outside the Box Funding. Awards will be presented at the reception to celebrate the great work of individuals who have gone above and beyond in their commitment to improve driving, cycling, and pedestrian safety! Nominations are being accepted now through October 18 for the 2019 Gulf Coast Safe Streets Summit Bob the Builder and Vision Zero Hero awards! It is free to nominate. It is $50 to register for the GCSSS.
